Thank you for your answer. If by restarting you mean closing OO/the computer, yes I did it plenty of times, and it doesn't look like quick starter is on (doesn't launch when I turn on the computer). The font was installed by a quite serious computer shop in Burma, so they must be familiar with the process. They installed MS Office at the same time (I only had OO), this is why I suspect that currently there is no way to have OO display Myanmar fonts, but this does not seem to make sense. This is why I am posting this question here, perhaps someone has some info about it?I found this page about the font, but it is not helpful to me:.The two developers cited cannot be found on he web.
